(n.) A telegraphic alphabet in very general use, inventing by Samuel F. B. Morse, the inventor of Morse's telegraph. The letters are represented by dots and dashes impressed or printed on paper, as, .- (A), - . . . (B), -.. (D), . (E), .. (O), . . .
